Light and plush trail traction. Softer, bouncier, more stable and durable-the redesigned Torrent 4 is all about that cushion, and honed for the trail. We upgraded the midsole compound for a lighter, cushier ride, increasing the stack height but nestling the foot securely in an Active Foot Frame. Then we reworked the 5mm lugs for an even more aggressive bite, wrapping the high-abrasion rubber strategically up the outsole, and adding an extra plush sockliner for comfort for the long haul.
