The new 42MM Filter Cap threads seamlessly onto all sizes of HydraPak's 42MM thread Seeker water storage bags and Flux flexible bottles morphing them into filtration solutions. The end result being lightweight filtration kits that can either be used to squeeze filtered potable water into other camp bottles and containers or to drink freshly filtered water from a Seeker or Flux. Works well with 3L seeker. I was able to use 3 bladders to carry water and didn't have to worry about a "clean" bladder. Filtered the water into a 1L Nalgene and kept on going.

Excellent product. Replaced my old bulky filter. Just finished a 3 day trip in the sawtooth mountains, by the end of the trip everyone was using my filter for water bc it was so easy and convenient.

I have used my filter on two long, full day adventure runs. One in Yosemite and one running around the Timberline trail. I paired mine with the 600ml UltraFlask and used it to both drink directly from and also to squeeze filtered water into my reservoir. It worked perfectly and made filtering so much more efficient, especially since I didn't have to carry an extra squeeze bag to filter everything which saved on both weight and space in my run vest.

The 42mm filter cap is a great addition to our kit. I like the fact that this filter can be used on a variety of HP products - Seekers and Running Flasks, specifically. The dust cover is a great add and is a game changer in terms of keeping junk off the cap. Flow rate is good too. If you're looking for a versatile filter option for backcountry hikes or rides, this is it!
